Permit to Carry Class

This course is approved by the Minnesota BCA and is a prerequisite to acquiring your permit. The course teaches firearm safety, basic shooting techniques, proper storage legal considerations and critical incidents. The course also provides Minnesota personal protection act laws.

Each student should bring their own firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition, as well as eyewear protection. If unavailable to you, you can rent a .22 caliber handgun for $5. Please purchase ammunition for this type of gun and bring the ammunition to class with you.

This course is approximately 6-8 hours in duration and includes class and range time. Course cost is $150. Group rates are also available. Please contact PSSI for more information.

Women on Target

Need a ladies night out? Want something different to do with your friends? Would you feel better going with a group of friends to learn about guns and gun safety? If you answered yes to any of this then the Women on Target class is perfect for your group!

This course is a great introductory to a variety of firearms for women, and unlike being stuck in a fire range and only being able to shoot down a block wall, this is an outdoor class that allows for a more real life experience for all that attend.

This class provides a safety briefing along with firearm safety rules. You will then have the opportunity to shoot a variety of firearms and be assisted by our knowledgeable and experienced staff. Get introduced to pistols, rifles, shotguns and tactical guns.

All guns and ammunition provided for this class.

This class runs approximately 3 hours and includes class and range time. Minimum requirement of 8 people in your group for class to be held. Class cost is $75. Please contact PSSI for more information.

On the Mark Firearms Training for Men & Women

Want a group experience like you never have had before? New to shooting? Avid shooter? Or just interested in doing something different with a group of friends?

On the Mark is a fun and informative way to get hands-on weapons familiarity with a variety of guns. You’ll safely fire the weapons at our outdoor range while learning more about each of them.

From handguns like a Walther P22 to a Glock 40, you will get a sense of which type of gun is most suitable for you. Then we move to long guns like the 22 Long Rifle and a 20 Gauge Shotgun, to get a better understanding of how each gun works. Then we step it up to an AR15, which is a standard military issue rifle and an AK-74, which is one of the most commonly issued weapons for military use in the world (with the exception of the US and England.) With lots of learning, safety and even more weapons to shoot, this is an experience you won’t want to miss out on.
